Welcome to the latest Boundless Spire update! This patch brings a slew of exciting gameplay enhancements, new features, and expanded mechanics to elevate the experience for our climbers climbing the ever-challenging tower.

Please note that our current focus is on refining backend systems and core gameplay loops. As a result, all front-end implementations are temporary placeholders and will be subject to future overhauls. This includes, and is not limited to images, backgrounds, and descriptions. We appreciate your understanding and feedback as we continue to improve! :Cute:

New Items and Inventory System

• Equipment System Added

• Players can now find, equip, and unequip gear such as weapons, armor, and accessories.

• Each piece of equipment includes its own rarity.

Item Drops

Its finally here, the long awaited item drop update!! Climbers, REJOICE! Climb the tower with a new found purpose. Enemies and NPCs now have a chance to drop loot upon defeat. Climb to find all the newly added types! We can't wait to see the different combinations you have for us. Be sure to post your finds for us to see!

Biome Diversity

• New Biome Types

• Each floor of the Boundless Spire now features unique environmental themes. We have released the first unique biome for you to encounter: __Rocky Heights. __

Materials

• Discover material nodes scattered throughout each biome/specific to a single biome.

• To gather you rapidly click the button, then once some materials popup you can proceed to click finish and return to your climbing journey!!

NPC-Specific Drops

• NPCs across the Spire have diversified drop tables based on type and difficulty.

• Rare or elite NPCs offer chances to obtain unique materials or gear.

Social Features Expansion

Global Chat

• New global chat system enables communication with adventurers tower-wide.

• Access global chat via the sidebar.

• Everything chat wise in game is not hidden from the staff team. We are able to see everything for safety reasons. All chats are logged.

Parties and Party Chat

• Form parties with up to 4 members to tackle the Spire collaboratively.

Benefits of party play:

• Group up for SPEED - Climb the tower at a faster speed with each additional member in your party actively climbing.

• Party chat provides a dedicated channel for private group communication. No need to dm people individually if you need to step away from climbing for a moment or two. Just let them know in the dedicated party chat!!

Misc Updates/Changes

• Assign stat points change: Do so from the inventory screen.

• Pouch to Bank: Do so from the inventory screen.

• NPC now scale differently based on a set multiplier.

• Captcha buttons were swapped.

Going forward our next focus will be an entire UI overhaul, and a frontend Rework. This is something we hope to achieve before launching our next phase.
